Ingredients:
Crepes:
100 g cake flour
50 g butter
250 ml milk
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
The zest of 1 orange
Sauce:
300 ml frsh orange juice
50 g sugar
50 gm butter
Directions
Melt the butter and set aside.
Beat the eggs. Beat in the flour and add a pinch of salt.
Stir in the milk. Then stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Add the orange zest and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
To cook the crepes, heat a frying pan over medium to highheat.
Grease the pan with a little bit butter.
Pour a little bit batter on the middle of the pan and tilt the pan to cover the base.
Cook for about 1 minute and flip over and cook for about 30 seconds.
Place in a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
For the sauce, heat the butter and once it’s becoming a little bit brown add the sugar.
Slowly cook until it starts to caramelize and add the orange juice.
Before serving heat the sauce in a pan then heat the crepe inside the sauce.
You can serve with vanilla ice cream.
